Starting on March 10 and for six weeks we will be encouraging one another to fast from specific things and activities as we prepare to celebrate Easter. When we fast, it is an opportunity to remember that Christ gave up infinitely more than we ever could and it should encourage us to be thankful.

For the Week of March 10-16, we encourage your participation by refraining from “junk food.” This would be candy, desserts, and salty snacks. As an alternative we suggest spending some time each day going for a walk.
